My engine steady bar on my 1400 cc Spyder has given up the ghost and snapped while out on a run yesterday - broken at the engine end. It is the one on the left side of the car.
I hope to remove it this weekend to ascertain if it can be repaired which may not work depending on how it has snapped, but just in case, does anyone have a spare engine stable bar available possibly after converting a spider from a 1400 cc to 1800 cc?

They do break but in my experience more often at the front where they fix to the tub. I don't have a spare anymore but to be honest they aren't that hard to either mend or replace if you can weld. I've doubled up on mine so I have one on the left and one on the right so if one fails I can still get home! Hope you get it sorted.
