Underside: Topside: I've got some more I think, but that should give you an idea. If you need anything specific, then let me know and I'll head to the garage with the camera.

The steering! It has changed since the photo, but gives the idea of the panel layout. Mine is far from standard, but the floor is fairly untouched, once I had the holes filled.

 Re: floorpan pictures of coupe
those are great. gives me a good idea for rust choppage. looks like simple flat sections. was planning on spliting the tub off the shell but the upper sections are ok. inner sills ned repalcing along with section of the floor. do you have any pics from the rear?

 Re: floorpan pictures of coupe
I wouldn't try and copy the rear of my car, as it isn't the original design. Have a hunt around the site, as I'm sure there are pictures of some of the other cars, in an unmolested state.
I'll have to see what paperwork I have got on the bodywork, I can't remember if I've got some drawings.

 Re: floorpan pictures of coupe
rear frame and lower rear bulkhead is ok, just the floor pan sections between the sills and prop tunnel and the inner sills that are holed or heavily pitted. rest is fine

 Re: floorpan pictures of coupe
You mean these bits? Obviously taken at an earlier stage of the rebuild.

 Re: floorpan pictures of coupe
If I remember right, the main rot is around where the rollbar would bolt to the floor on the pass side - meaning the jacking point would also need rebuilding.
Be aware of the thickness of the floor panels - this can be seen on tim's photos with the holes thru the floor - at around 3mm. The panels with the strengthening ribs are thinner at I think 1.2mm

 Re: floorpan pictures of coupe
I wouldn't expect the floor to be be 3mm plate, that's going to be really heavy. There's nothing, apart from the roll cage/seatbelt mounts that's anywhere near that thickness on my shell. Although admittedly I don't have the dropped floor.

 Re: floorpan pictures of coupe
The thickness is only in the seat mounts, which can be seen in the top photos and the jacking points/ roll hoop mount.
The rest is fairly thin. And a devil to fill when someone has peppered it with holes!
The strength in most of the floor is the ribs that stiffen it up, not in the thickness of metal.

 Re: floorpan pictures of coupe
It must be double thickness in the seat mount areas then - though I don't remember it being

 Re: floorpan pictures of coupe
Having looked at some of the example pictures above, I would be inclined to reduce the size of the 'access panels' in the centre tunnel and have nice radiussed corners. I know it is a pain running pipes, wiring and gear linkages but the tunnel is an important structural part of the GTM chassis.

 Re: floorpan pictures of coupe
i hopefully collecting it nexct week so i'll take more pics.
if the seat tub area is 3mm then it might be ok. tops of the inner sill when it meets the outer sill under the door looks very flakey. outer sills look good from the exterior
