leaded or unleaded
hi ,how do i tell if my engine is leaded or unleaded.thanks oh by the way i got my engine started it was the dissy drive would like to thank everyone for your help thanks

There was a list that exsited of engine numbers which gave an indication of when the cylinder heads got suitable seats, cannot remeber where tho as it was ages ago. failing that the only other way is to inspect the head stripped and see if you can see the seats, or have them tested for hardness.
is it a 1275?
