 Water Pump
My water pump pulley is fouling the suspension tower when accelerating.
I'm looking at inline electric pumps instead, but think £140 for a Davies-Craig is a bit OTT
Anyone know if the VW/Audi "auxilliary water pump" will do the do, or will they be underpowered?

 Re: Water Pump
PPC magazine used a central heating pump in their V8 transit, driven from an inverter (if that helps)

Sometimes they turn up on Ebay Anyone know if the VW/Audi "auxilliary water pump" will do the do, or will they be underpowered? ........... I have got one of these on the 'BBC' Charge cooling system. I was very inpressed by the amount of flow but, I'm not so sure about supplying enough volume for a 1.6 Toyota

 Re: Water Pump
Cheaper option
fit another engine steady or increase clearance if possible, i have a well placed little cutuout o nmy tower to allow the waterpump casting a little more clearance on the honda, plus it fits nicely around the cone like it was made to fit the profile!
The audi/vw pump is called an auxillary pump for a reason if you get my drift. i have one from a bmw sitting on a hook in the workshop for when its needed.
