Last dumb question for today....

Either side of the bonnet latch at the front there are two plates pop-riveted on with a bolt sicking up about 1 inch in a tube.

Are these plates access holes to the radiator and what are the bolts, air bleeds when filling the cooling system? Or are they fixing plates in view of the pop-rivets down the middle?



I did get a thick file of documentaton with the car including build and technical manuals but they don't seem to answer these stupid questions. Experience has taught be to ask the dumb questions. It's better to look a fool and know what you are doing than not know what you are doing and act foolishly. Famous Chinese saying I just made up

Yeah, had my MkIII Invader for 10 years now. Its been on the road all this time but needs a bit of work, hence the Rossa. Plan was to use the Rossa whilst the Gilberns off the road but as you can see I've a few jobs on the Rossa first
