Hi,

I picked up a set of gauges a while ago which I was told came from an A-series engined kit car. Most of them are pretty standard, the rev counter is an RVI type so best avoided anyway, but the speedo is interesting, I was told it needs a morris 1300 cable (not sure if that's the same as the mini one, but longer) and it goes up to 170mph.

Coxes used whatever the builder wanted/found/sourced.

Mine has a '65 "S" unit.

Looks far too modern, and far, far too high a speed ,have you found a makers date on the back, I suspect it will be 21st Century?

Period Cox wouldn't have anything more than a contemporary Mini (Cooper S 110MPH ?) most would have has standard center Mini 80 MPH.....
