A great weekend of classic car racing and loads of other entertainment.

A club area has been booked and PAID for No Marquee, so hope for good weather.

I'll be there all three days along with my wife. I know of two other Libra owning couple's going so far.

Early bird 2-4-1 tickets are available till 31st March [see link in above post], after that advance tickets untill 31st May.

Full members will have got the booking code in the latest newsletter, I'll also post it in the members area on this Forum.

Discounted 2-4-1 tickets [27%] are only available till Sat 31st March, advance tickets, normal price but still 2-4-1, are available till 31st May.

Only the usual three Libra owners are booked to attend so far, disappointing as this is a classic event.

The website doesn't have a race running order yet -- I can't make the whole weekend but I'd love to see the Group C event especially if, as rumoured, the Jaguar XJR14 and Peugeot 905 make an appearence. Any ideas which day to aim for?

Hi Steve,

Yes website says 'list of races not finalised yet', Fri is normally qualifying.
With two feature races I would say one on Sat one Sun, doesn't help does it.
Fri & Sun the queue's are not to bad to get in, but Sat take's ages.

We've got three couple's booked in at the Travelodge Northamton Wootton for Fri/Sat night, which is the nearest I could find at an acceptable price.
Closer Travelodge/Premier Inn's are charging a small fortune that weekend but there might be some small B&B's around? or there are camp sites close by.

I see your frustration, and feel your pain having been there myself, you put your time and efforts into organising an event, and then the defferning silence comes from the very club members who ask.......

We wont be arriving till late Friday night, so might just catch you for last orders.

Are we having a convoy Saturday morning from the Hotel to Silverstone, if so what time?

That's great that your going to join us. If the weather's bad we'll be back early but if it's ok we might stop and see the entertainment, but will be back for last orders.

Yes we will be in convoy, time Last year it took over an hour to get in on Sat, but this year they are going to have two entrance's, we'll see what it's like Fri and decide from there.

Yes I will be at Detling on Sunday with my son.

It's a long way from Halifax, so travelling down tomorrow (Sat) at the show all Sunday, and travelling back on Monday.
