Post subject:  Dampers and hydrogas suspension and build manual
Should my K3 have had dampers as well as the hydragas spheres as I have seen on some other rover/bl cars using the spheres?

Also is there a pdf copy of the build manual anywhere I can buy or download?

Last question , how many K3s were built?

It depends on which donor metro was used. If it was a gti then they had the dampers as well as the spheres but other metro's didn't have them on so it really doesn't matter whether they are fitted or not if the spheres are in good shape.
I have a copy of the build manual which I can scan and send as pdf if you like. I will dig it out. From memory it's not brilliant but it may be useful.
I don't think many K3s were produced because the Libra took off not long after but I would be curious as to how many were produced.

My K3 (years ago now) had spheres with no dampers.

Metro GTi had dampers on front, but the K3 without welding in some brackets won't have a top mount (as it was on the body not the subframe on the Metro).
