I've currently only got about 95-100 degrees of sweep on my wiper, it is fine for seeing straight ahead but can be a little interesting for sharp turns or going over bridges ect when the line of sight is through the un-wiped area. The other problem is due to the lack of sweep, to cover enough of the drivers side the park position is 30 degrees up the windscreen in front of the passenger.

Has anyone found a solution that allows for more sweep as I've tried shortening the arm attached to the wiper, but this made a pretty alarming sound as it changed direction at each end of the sweep due to the increased angle it was trying to push/pull the lever from.

I was looking at a rack and pinon type design as used on defenders, but thought I'd ask to see if anyone has a better (and less horrifically expensive) solution?
