Just bought a rossa mk2, 1275 a plus engine and i have a split hose. The hose goes from the water pump to the sandwich plate on the head to a pipe coming out of the engine/cabin bulkhead(to radiator) and finally i believe to the expansion tank. Has anyone any idea what car this hose comes from and where can i get one? Having a fair bit of experience with carb minis tells me its not from one of them. I think it might be from an a plus powered metro as they had the front mounted rad, expansion tank, water pump in same place, and i believe the sandwich plate under the thermostat housing. Any help much appreciated as i can't drive the car with it losing this much water I wish i had a build manual or a list of donor parts

If it's the hose I'm thinking of it will be horse shoe shaped with a long and a short stub coming off it. It is off a 1275 Metro but I'm not sure what year. However, if the one on mine is the original one for the engine (if you see what I mean) then it's 1990. I found one on ebay a while back and I've just had a quick look but there's none there at the moment

Sounds like the bog standard "bottom" hose from any A-series Metro - '81 thru '90

Thanks for confirming my thoughts guys, will be straight down the local motor factors, so that I can get back out it in. Just the oil leak to sort out now
