Can anyone please tell me where the actual pivot point is on a mini ball joint, is it the very bottom ball where it seats or is it further up the stem, I need if possible a measurement from the base of the retaining nut to the pivot point, nearest mm will be fine.

A Mini balljoint has a large and small hemisphere joined and the pivot point is smack in the middle.
