Post Weber identification numbers
I'm toying with putting a Weber on my Rossa and according to my Haynes Weber book the recommended version is a 45DCOE 13. I'm familiar enough with DCOEs having had them in the past but I don't know how important the 13 (which I presume refers to internal drillings or suchlike) is. Can anybody say? What do others use? Thanks.

As far as I know the 13 refers to minor differences in the progression circuit as compared to something like the DCOE 9.

I wouldn't think that this would make them unusable for you though.

Thanks. I keep changing my mind about a Weber because I dare say that the SUs are probably more suited to everyday pottering around in traffic but the Weber is a nice thing to have (and I need something to tinker with too  )

Bike carbs are the way to go now (or bike throttle bodies if you want a really big project).
