I have reluctantly decided to sell my Coupe.
It was first registered in 1991 and I believe I'm the second owner.
I have owned it for about 20 to 25 yrs.
It has 13 inch wheels, sound chassis (but some suface rust) and has been highly modified.
The rear end has a custom made de dion axle with 4 links and panhard rod.
It also has a custom bias bar pedal box and cudtom sterring column with detachable wheel.
The chassis has been modified and stifenned in weak areas.
The engine is a 1275 metro block with kent 276 cam, 1.5: 1 roller rockers and a stage 3 head with hif carb and aldon igniter dissy.
The front end has adjustable tie rods, 1.5 degree neg camber bottom arms and drilled rubber cones.
It has gaz adjustable shocks all round.
I have the original build manual.
The gearchange into second is a bit slow and the metro non vented calipers are seized, but the car rolls fine.
The engine starts, but it really needs its electric fuel pump replacing.
It needs new tyres all round.
It's white and the front shell has some crazing where it has ben rrpsired before I bought it.
I think it will mot quite easily, but not without 4 new tyres and some time spent.
I do not believe any welding is required, but you'll need to treat the surface rust.
