Finishing up the rebuild of the rear subframe on my Rossa 2, I am trying to fit GAZ adjustable shocks but they dont seem to want to line up.
Anyone fitted them to a Rossa? Do you have any pictures of how they should be fitted? In fact any pictures of the rear shock setup would be perfect.
Thanks all, and Merry Christmas!!
Nathan.

Re: GAZ shock clearance
If it's any help this is my Mk1 with Spax adjustables. I don't know how big the Gaz are but there's not tons of clearance at the top and anything much fatter than the Spax would be quite a tight fit between the bracket and the tub.
Happy Christmas

I think i may have a misleading title. I think the clearance is fine. The trouble seems to be with the angle of the shock. I assume it should be 'square' with the brackets, but it appears that the top bracket is set back further than the bolt position on the top arm.
Maybe it will have to wait until after Christmas. Thanks for the help.

Re: GAZ shock clearance
When I stripped mine there was a spacer between the bracket and the top of the shocker which you can just see in the photo. On all 4 corners I found that the shocker was being pulled slightly on its rubbers towards the bracket so I shimmed them with stainless washers to make them fit without any pull which I thought might either distort the rubbers or cause leaks at the piston rod seals. Hope this helps.
