Just thought I would add a few lines about myself and the Coupe and plans for the year
I used to be on the forums as gtmpaul but have had issues with logging on so I'm now flattrack500

Bought the coupe about ten years ago, rebuilt it to a good spec IE, roll cage, ex metro challenge engine etc
Ran the the car for a few years, children arrived, car sits under carport neglected.
Off road trailriding becomes the hobby, although this has its risks




So this year the Coupe is having a tidy up ready for a bit of hillclimbing
It's back up and running, new front shocks, new wheels, Bought a race suit at the Autosport show
Just need a new helmet and a small amount of welding around the front of the tub/sill area prior to its MOT
Hope to be up and running by March and maybe the first event to be Wiscombe, I have raced at Wiscombe many years ago in a mini so the GTM should be a bit of fun

Yes I decided to give the cars a rest and take up trail riding, that's the result of a "0" mph fall off my XT600
So now getting the GTM ready, I still have a Sylva but thats has been off the road for ten years and the GTM is more suited for hillclimbing.

The coupe looks nice. Great to hear you're planning to hillclimb at Wiscombe, we are hoping to do all 6 of the championship events this year in our coupe in class B2, first event is 14th May. See you there!

I have been to Wiscombe but it was a long time ago, the car is now in the garage with all the wheels off so I can sort out a few bits and pieces, I hope to be done by April work permitting

This was a run up the hill during a classic car run about nine years ago
The mini was the last time I raced there, that was a very long time ago
