Blue - Connect to + Parking Light (could leave this probably)
Red - Connect to + Indicator
Black - Connect to Earth (Ground)

AFAIK

Do you not also need a different flasher relay or resistors.

If you are wiring the LED repeaters in parallel with the normal indicator bulbs there should be no problem. Their current draw is so small that a normal flasher unit won't even know they are there.

This is actually what causes the problem if you replace normal filament bulbs with LED's. They don't use enough current to operate a standard flasher unit so you need to wire resistors in parallel with them to increase the current draw or use an electronic flasher unit which is independent of the current in the circuit.

No, more like the alternator problem in the coupe section. The lamp in the dash conducts in one direction, to excite the alternator but the opposite direction when it goes over voltage. You were using an led, which only conducts in one direction.

You need to add a lamp, to make it work correctly.

Give me a shout Stuart, if you need to sort it out still.

You can still use the LED if you wire a 100 ohm resistor in parallel with it to bypass enough current to excite the alternator.

The resistor needs to be at least 2w power handling. 5w would be better.
