Re: rossa heated screen
I have no idea but it might help to know that the Rossa screens are actually from a Citroen Visa. I'm not sure about the K3 though.

Re: rossa heated screen
One of the Midas forum members organised a group buy on heated windscreens from Ricky Evans Motorsport in Tamworth. Because the Fiat 127 screen used on the Midas cars is obsolete he had to supply a screen which was then shipped across to China to be used as a template. From memory 20 screens set us back £250 per screen, a total bargain when you consider the improvements made to the driving experience in a car that was otherwise unusable in damp or frosty conditions.

Re: rossa heated screen
front glass / windshield in midas is from Fiat 126p. New item in Poland ( where fiat 126p was made ) cost about 150 PLN ( circa 30 GBP )
but not heated

Re: rossa heated screen
Dagnabbit, one number out.....
I know they are a nightmare to get in the UK, the heated screen fixed the horrendous misting problems which are mainly due to the useless screen demister, something else I need to look at while the Midas is in bits.

Re: rossa heated screen
You've probably looked already but Car Builder Solutions have a wide range of heating and demisting parts on their web site, some of which should be adaptable for your needs. Also, a slightly less neat but easier solution might be to use one of these heated electric fans that sit on top of the dash but you've probably seen these too

Re: rossa heated screen
I tried the heated fans, sadly they are utterly useless, there's probably more mileage in using a heated blower from a production cabriolet, though they do tend to be quite long to be fitting under a dash. What I'm likely to fit are the in-line fans that fit into the corrugated tubing as it's the connection between the external fan and the rest of the car that's the problem on the Midas.
