 Re: K3 advice
I believe the mgf subframe is identical to metro one but with as few additional brackets that may or may not need to be removed.I seem to remember the screen is from a citroen visa.

 Re: K3 advice
The MGF sub frames are the same as a Metro but with extra brackets added, these can be removed and the subs will fit in place of the Metro units.

 Re: K3 advice
As others have said the subs are ok to use, the only thing I would add is that if you use the MGF wheels as I have you will need to widen the wheel arches as they will stick out from the bodywork too far.
I would try to use the whole of the MGF running gear, cable gearchange, rear brakes and handbrake cables etc. as it is far superior to the Metro bits.

 Re: K3 advice
I've had a new member contact me [as he's not got internet access] and I've managed to answer his questions but one, how close is the exhaust manifold to the fuel tank on the K3? His is within 50mm?

 Re: K3 advice
The fuel tank is inside the cockpit and the exhaust is in the engine bay, so there is fibre glass inbetween.

 Re: K3 advice
O'er, thanks for your reply. He tells me that a section has been cut out and the tank is exposed to the engine bay?

 Re: K3 advice
Thats certainly not how it should be, i'm wondering if this has been done to allow the tank to sit far enough back. If he hasn't all ready the spot welded lip needs grinding back as far as possible and bending flush with the tank to allow it to sit far enough in.
I'm guessing somebody has tried to fit the tank without modifing it first.

 Re: K3 advice
Would you [or any K3 owner] be willing to talk to him on the phone He seems a nice chap, based in Northern Ireland. I'll understand if you don't want to get involved, once he got your number
