One of my fog lights dropped out this afternoon and smashed on the road

I believe they are from a certain Sierra. I had a look on fleebay and it would seam that they are very rare to find

Does any one know where I can get one or know if anything else will fit? I was thinking about fitting a pair of cheap after market ones.



To top it off I ran out of fuel when the gauge was still reading half full! Then the battery went flat before the fuel got up into the carp. I bump started it down a nearby hill. Then 4 hours later I found I had lost my phone. I searched the house and rang it a few times before it when to voice mail (the battery was very low). I figured I must have dropped it when I jumped in the car while bumping it. I drove to the hill and the phone was not there. i got home and thought I would check the Rossa again. I have not heard id ringing before the battery went flat so was sure it was not in the car. it had dropped down the side of the seat. Thank goodness something when right

All I need to do now is find a suitable fog light and whip the tank out and find out what's going on with the sender.

I have a K3 but I think that it will be the same and it is a ford sierra cosworth. Having seen the odd one on ebay they went for silly prices. The good news is that Car Builder Solutions have a fog lamp that is almost the same size and so I will make a pair of these fit. I will look out the ones I have and get you the actual sizes.

That is gr8 news Peeps. Do you know where I can get these from? I was thinking about the cheep ring light that I used to buy for all my cars when I was younger and more of a boy racer, but I think they are about the right width but not as tall.

Re Fuel gauge - I managed to get it out without removing the tank. There is loads of space with the spare wheel out

The resistance is too low with the float fully down. It only rises to about 150 Ohm. I need to put at least a 300 Ohm resistor across the wires for the gauge to still read MT. The resistance wire is wound very close and the empty end of the scale. I think the wires have spread out and are touching so the resistance hardly rises after the contact gets to this part. I have tried cleaning the wires but it seams to made it worse. The gauge now reads higher that before.

Not to worry I found mini senders on ebay for £15, so not too bad
