Going to strip the front subframe in the same way and rebuild and install in the car then transport it home
Garage is only ten mins away so not to bad.

Well time for a long overdue update, been mega busy with the house, garden, kids and other casr so the cox took abit of a back seat.
Both subframes are now complete and i have just purchase a rear locking kit off alan at the kit car show a few weeks ago.
Im in the process of locating some stainless bolts to mount the subframes then there going back on. Will hopefully get some pictures uploaded soon.

I don,t think stainless steel bolts are suitable for load bearing use as they are not as strong as steel ones hopefully someone else will give their opinion

I agree they should be high tensile steel bolts or studs, S/S bolts are took soft and should never be used on a safety critical part.
Look on the Mini forum, there are many topics about this.
