Re: GTM's 50th Birthday Themed Event
So for us foreign people, who don't know the area. Whats best between Doncaster and Scunthorpe ? Looking at the accommodation option, both seem a reasonable distance for the final hop to Blydon. Other option is Castleford area which I know already.

Ken..... I have always stayed on site, so I can't comment from "personal experience" but, these are the ones listed on the Blyton Park website.
http://www.blytonpark.co.uk/local-hospitalityEdited by west, added the link to Blyton.

Re: GTM's 50th Birthday Themed Event
Yes the price has gone up by £24 from what I said in my very first post. I did say £135ish.
I was surprised too, at the hike when I booked.
But to be honest I think it's still a fair price.
£20 don't go far these days.
See you at Stoneleigh on Monday Ken?

Re: GTM's 50th Birthday Themed Event
ooooo So its 150 Days away I have the answer Ken all you need to do is stop having that coffee at work you buy, and save £1.07 a day from tomorrow, £1.07 x 149 days is £159.43 In all honesty that is a good price for the limited number of 60 on track. I payed more for a day at Cadwell which had a lot more cars and was very busy. If you were to do Donnington it would be getting close to double that money! I will have to get it booked, and get the car ready and, and, and. Neil

Re: GTM's 50th Birthday Themed Event
Hi Steve,
The track is only open on the Sunday. This is why those wishing to attend for the track must book up soon. When booking book your vehicle/model as a...........Grand Touring MINI.
There is only space for 60 vehicles, as this is an open pit lane event. It's not your usual session type track day, where your only aloud out in your time slot, which aren't really good value for money. At this event you can go out all day except for the lunch break.
Currently there are almost 30 cars booked in for the track already.
The Saturday is only for those who wish to camp over and have abit of a drinlk and attend a informal chat with historic mini celebrity drivers, telling anecdotes from their past on the mini scene. There is also talk about a local tour around the area but nothing has come too light yet of what this involve.
