That is very kind of you GTM Driver. I absolutely hate to say it, but I don't have the time the comming 4 till 6 weeks to collect the car myself as I'm very bussy with my work here in Holland and can't afford to take the spare time. As the car is in Scotland it's also very hard to find someone to collect it, mainly because of the distance. I am only interested in a couple of specific period parts. I could understand that someone here on the forum would like the car to buy for spares or perhaps even historic racing. So let's hope a solution will be found, I'm not giving it up yet.

Thanks again for the very kind offer GTM Driver, if you ever come to Holland let me know, I'm not far from Amsterdam and you are of course also welcome to stay on your journey .

i live 30 minutes from lanark, from ferry port a newcastle to lanark is 3 hours, if the brakes are free you can push the gtm onto ferry and ship it solo, olso tunderman, or farm trans use newcastle to imugen maybe they can give you a fair price for transport, if i can help i will...pete

Thanks for a extra explaining West. It seems nobody is interested in buying the car with me, so I will see what happens with the car this evening. Pete, thanks you very much also for giving the offered option to get the car to Holland. I will get behind the computer tonight, see what happens with the price of the car and who knows, maybe I have it below the maximum price I have in mind.

Camelot Restorations are one: me (cr.fw.hu). And Yes, I was the guilty who bought this car . I have two excuses: first I will spend 7-800 hours of my life to restore this gem, second, I will do quite long trip to pick it up (2000kms). Thats my life. I have done a couple of Minis and thsi one will be my most pressious. Please Michael forgive me this rude act...
By the way, if only I would like to ask some help in my project. It would be marvellous if I could take some photos and have some discussion on the early Coxes when I wisit England. Best would be to see one if possible. Can anybody help me?

Well, yesterday evening I had a very unpleasant call, so I had to leave immediatly and left me no chance to bid on the auction. I understand now that Camelot bought this car, with the intention to restore it . I can absolutely live with that, I see this as another victory for the GTM owners worldwide as another one is saved an effort will be put in it. I must say Camelot, the amount of money offered is more than I would have paid for it, but hey that's the problem with auctions. You have a rare car as well. Please be so kind to inform us with extra pictures when you have the car ok? I would like to be helpfull, what do you need, I have lot's of articles, drawings etc. that could be of great use.

Everyone that has tried to help me regarding the collection and shippment, many thanks for everything . It gives you a real "club feeling". If there's anyone that wants to sell the side windows or complete doors give me a PM please.
