Sun visors & Overheating!
Hi! I’m trying to get my Coupe on the road here in Western Australia. The inspectors have requested that I fit sun visors! Has anyone done this and if so do you have any tips please? Also, what is the best solution for getting more cooling into the engine bay please? Air scoops? My rear rad and electric fan just isn’t enough! Any advice appreciated! Thanks, Ken

Can't comment on the coupe but I used BMW Z3 sun visors on my Spyder and they work really well - they are small and only have one central mount with two screw holes. They don't swing around to the side like some tin top versions though. Attachment:

Re: Sun visors & Overheating!
Cooling with a rear mounted radiator in a warm climate is always going to be marginal.
I fitted a front mounted radiator and a Davies-Craig electric water pump and it cooled so well that I was able to use a Laminova oil/water intercooler which uses the cooling system to cool the oil too. This system means that you don't need to mount the oil cooler in the airflow.
I wired my Davies-Craig pump to a permanent live feed via a thermostatic switch which meant that the pump would continue to run and dissipate the heat soak after the engine was turned off.

Re: Sun visors & Overheating!
Hi Ken. My old Cox GTM with a 1425 S engine on 45 DCOE had a front mounted Renault R16 water rad up front with an electric fan and exit hole in the top of the front section a 13 row oil cooler mounted just under the hole in the engine cover on the R/H side fed from and air scoop above the wheel arch, I had another scoop on the left side feeding the car airbox, If you PM me I can mail early 1980's pictures. My current car (in a hot climate) is very much like GTM drivers suggestions, Davis Craig water pump, Laminover oil to water cooler etc. pictures posted on Kano Nordy Coupe build thread
