Post Rear Locking Arms
I'm in the midst of designing and building a set of rear locking arms for the Coupe as the "Rossa Bitz" ones won't work with my caliper setup (already been in contact with Alan), for those of you in the know can you take a look at this and see if I've overlooked something or need to change something.

Hopefully its readable,

Andy

Sorry,
I can't quite see.
Am I to assume the outer pivot point is vertically aligned with the pivot point of the top arm ball joint?

If im looking at things correctly. you have all the pivots in the same place, inner/outer steering to top arm so this should be fine. Very simular to the locking arms I started to make as an interm fix but never 100% finished  . is the 10mm under the arm a spacer between arm and hub? as you can then play with finer postion of this to dial in or out that tiny bit of bump steer, it can actually be a benefit to dail a little in some cases/school of thought

The inner pivot will need a brace like alans set up, or I came up with a slightly different approach due to my frame etc.

West,

thanks for your reply, yes the 10mm packer is there for just that reason, its probably 1mm low but I kept it at this so it could be shimmed if necessary, the inner pivot extension will be braced off the subframe for support its just not detailed on this dwg.

I've come across this thought before - can you explain why that should be?
I'm still very much at the learning stage with suspension setup!

Ok so prototype made and assembled seems to be the bees knees, won't know for sure until a test drive but from first principles its all good.

Here's a couple of shots of the finished product:
