Coupe rear bumper
Looking at pics of other coupes out there it seems quite a few have had the rear bumper removed. I am considering this as it is a bit ugly and doesn't seem to suit the lines of the arch etc. Anybody know how it is attached, and how to remove it..? Also if it is removed will there be unsightly holes and things where it was...?

Re: Coupe rear bumper
It's normally attached with bolts through the step just below the rear lights with a couple of fixings at the very bottom outside corners but it can be very random.
Open the boot lid and have a look inside. Check along the step that runs across the rear panel just below the rear lights. You should find 3 or 4 bolts spread across the car.

Re: Coupe rear bumper
They are (I think) normally attached by screwing them to the lid that is under the rear lights and to the back of the rear arches. If you look in the boot there should be able to see some of the screws there. With kit cars though everybody does them differently, so this may not be the case with yours. If you take the bumper off and like it like that, Pete is looking for one. http://www.gtmdrivers.com/forum/my-coupe-story-there-won-t-be-a-dry-eye-in-the-house-t293.html?hilit=storyEDIT: Damn, John was quicker than me!

Re: Coupe rear bumper
If you don't want yours, I am looking for a rear bumper.
