As our usual May meeting would have taken place only a few days after Stoneleigh
we decided to cancel this and meet again in June. However we have decided to have
a change to our normal meet and go to ther classic car show at Papplewick, just
north of Nottingham, on Wednesday 5th June. Cars start to gather from 5pm and
the meet couninues until dusk. Hope to see you among the cars at this event.

We are back to normal this month so will be meeting on Tuesday 9th July

We have had our christmas dinner at the Riverside restaurant Farndon for the last few years but this year we have decided to have a change.I have tried and ruled out 4 places in the Newark area and Howard has tried two one was the Five Bells at Bassingham which we have picked for this year on tuesday the 10th of december at 7pm so far we have the same eleven people to go as the last few years but anyone else is welcome to join us the cost is £24.95 for 3 course meal i will need to pay £5 deposit per person in next few days so if anyone else would like to come please let me know asap thanks mark

Where has the year gone? It doesent seem five minutes since we were meeting for the Christmas meal last year.
Anyway, here we are again. We are meeting at the 5 Bells, Bassingham, at 7-00 for 7-30pm. Thanks very much
Mark for doinf all the organisation. I look forward to meeting all those who have booked there meal but for those
who havent but would like to join us, you will be very welcome to join us in January on the second Tuesday of the month,
and look forward to meeting you then. In the mean time may I wish you all a very happy christmas ans a healthy

Thanks very much Mark for organising the Christmas meal at the 5 bells last night and what a great meal it was,
everyone seemed to have had a great time. Getting there hawever was another tale, with people taking almost
2 hours to do what would normaly be a 45 min journey due to the terrible weather. some reported seeing a car
in a ditch and on my way home I came across another car in the ditch trying to be recoverewd by a Landrover.
For some of you Christmas this year will not be as joyfull as you would like due to berevements in the families,
but I hope that you will have as happy a time as is possible.
