 Re: front indicators
I used Wipac NAS spec land rover units as I did on the rear.

 Re: front indicators
No, directly under the headlights. They fit fine, the curviture of the body is no problem at this point. I'll take some pics this weekend.

 Re: front indicators
I am looking for the same thing, as the ones I have on the front now are some Toyota ones that do not fit the curve and are looking pretty tatty. So now looking for other options.. for our rules here they need to be combination of parking lamp and turn signal.. are the Wipac ones dual filament?

I used the normal Mini ones but I recessed them slightly.

MOT just checks for an indicator, not how bright. minimike wrote: ken555 - are the Nissan Micras ones dual filament? Afraid not, but you could wire something up I would guess. My Headlights are "angel eyes" type so no sidelight lights required.

 Re: front indicators
Yes, I can fit a dual socket behind although a lot of the newer light housings are plastic molded sockets so not the easiest, as need to keep it watertight from the rear... another option is use some relays to make it work for both park and signal?
Good idea Mr. Mac! That place does not ship outside the UK.. but I may be able to find them elsewhere..I would prefer the 70mm size though..

 Re: front indicators
Just search eBay for NAS Wipac and you will find loads of people selling them. Failing that try any of the aftermarket land rover online shops.
If you want me to buy them and ship them let me know - not a problem although it might cost a bit in postage.

Thanks in advance! I recessed them so that they were square across the car but the outer edge was flush with the body panel.

 Re: front indicators
A subtle but effective way to mount them.. thanks.. I have a few options to think about..I think maybe a trip to the breakers to poke around might help sort something out..
