Hey Catsam,
You've recently removed a subframe from a K3, aside from pipes and wires, how long did it take?

I can't really say how long it took me to remove the subframe as I did it in my spare time over about 2 weeks

Tony

When I did my K3, the removal of the Subframe on the front took about an hour once I had spent 2 days freeing off seized nuts & bolts, whilst the rear took me about 3 hours, again after freeing and cutting off even more seized fixings.

I suppose times reflect the condition of the subframes and what you need to remove to make them light enough to manhandle

Thank you Jaybee,
I might have to do the necessary removal of the two subframes prior to shipment and storage.
Cheers

Catsam.
Well done job! Are you going to top coat with gelcoat and cover the gelcoat with some flashtape so it gives a smooth finish. When it's gone off sand with 240 work down to 1500 then paint to match?

I was not happy with just cutting the wheel arches of I have started to make a center console for my car

Image Image Image Image Image Image Image
I started with the white sheet the pain was to make a paton then cover with fibreglass
I'm thinking of painting it with textured paint

I don't know what to do with it gloss paint or I could paint with textured paint or cover it with something I think might paint and if I don't like it I could cover with something and make I look good
