 Re: Rear wheels
Hi John, Is your rear steer locking systeem the same as mine? 1/2" thread Is it complete with locking nuts? As you can see, the thread on the left Side got butchered. Is it possible to send them to Holland? If so, how long will it take them to arrive here? Greets Harold

 Re: Rear wheels
Hi Harold, I made arms to replace the Mini steering arms and left and right hand M12 threaded links with spherical bearings and a nut with a shank to fit onto the upper arm spindle, the same idea as the Rossa Parts steering locking system. I'll be back in the UK on 18th April and they could be posted to you if still needed. I'll take a picture of the steering lock and post it, Its too hot (45c) whoooo outside just now John

 Re: Rear wheels
Hi John,
Is it a straight bolt on?
In between now and then I will have a look around and see if I can find something suitable around here. Or have it made maybe. Can you e-mail me your price?
I'll keep you informed
Cheers Harold

 Re: Rear wheels
It is a straight bolt on apart from having to drill 2 extra holes in the subframe for the support bracket on the inner pivot, just a thought are you using 13" wheels? as they would not fit inside a 10" wheels, that is why the Mini steering arms are such a funny shape John

 Re: Rear wheels
The trackrodends on both sides of the adjust-bar are not he same?! The one on the outside which connects the adjust-bar to the steering arm has a balljoint with 3/8 thread and a tapered piece from aprox 11,5 to 12,5mm The one on the inside which connects the adjust-bar to the subframe has a balljoint with 7/16 thread and a tapered piece from aprox 13 to 14mm. Must be British Sense to make them different, but are they standard mini parts? The one on the wheelside probably is the standard trackrodend from a mini steeringrack? http://minispares.com/product/Classic/S ... 0to%20shopWhat about the one on the inside? Cheers Harold

 Re: Rear wheels
Help - anybody using this tapered ball pin setup, I have only seen it once on a GTM and that was way back in early 1980's so did not check sizes

 Re: Rear wheels
My two new steer-locking kits have arrived! Many thanks to Alan @ Rossabitz A nice package of trackrods, nuts and inner trackrodends. The outside-trackrodends are standard mini-parts and I allready bought these. Hopefully they will be fit next weekend. Cheers Harold
