 Re: Kano Coupe I got my seats back from the upholsterer allowing me to position the steering column and the super deluxe mock up wheel, now to make brackets to locate the column bush under the roll cage horizontal tube.

Re: Kano Coupe Yesterday we had stage 2 of our Nigerian elections for state governors; as usual here there is no movement of vehicles on the roads to reduce the risk of busloads of voters going to every polling station and voting may times and to increase security in case of any violence as often happens during these times.
As I’m under house arrest it was a good chance to remove the twinny Mini rear engine/subframe/suspension.
There was plenty of spiders webs, rat sh*t and dust, being not that far from the Sahara boy Oh boy do we have dust!!
I gave it a bit of a scrub down to remove the 15 years of storage crud
The A frame suspension came off my old Cox after it was destroyed and brought back to Kano during the mid 1990 when I had the idea to build the twinny
Not much chance to do anything today as there is F1 from China, followed by WSB from Aragon and the Moto GP from the US, a full day in front of the box!!
