 Libra Clutch I have a hydraulic clutch on my Libra but it is rather heavy both cylinders are standard MGF items which has a very light clutch any ideas.

Re: Libra Clutch You could try a larger pipe. Sometimes the restriction of the pipe can cause drag. A pain of a job to do though I'd guess.

Re: Libra Clutch The cause will be the pedal ratio.
MGF will be 5:1 or maybe even 6:1. The Libra is nearer 3:1.

Re: Libra Clutch Don't know Tim, I guess that might work if you could get it to fit. All the Libra I know have the same set up and most complain more about the brake pedal than the clutch. I did look at changing the pedal box. Looking is as far as I have got so far

Re: Libra Clutch Another problem I have come across [not my car though] with the clutch is the slave cylinder bracket bending when the clutch pedal is depressed,[making it difficult to change gear] could this be linked  Bob S.

Re: Libra Clutch I fitted the Elise parts bracket that bolts through the slave mount to the gearbox and takes the flex out. It doesn't make the pedal any lighter but does make the action better. I also modded the pedal to give more travel.
