Re: Paul's k3
I have taken out the front tub I have given it some paint and a bit of carpet which I got from Stoneleigh kitcar show it had this thick plastic backing on the carpet. I found very hard to get to lay flat inside the tub so had to heat it up with a heat gun and bend it around the corners

Re: Paul's k3
I have started to fix the boot I found the hole in the boot was too big for the pin and the top hat it just fell in the hole at my work, they was changing some bronze bushes that looked like they would fit 20 mm outside and 10mm inside would do the trick I have fiberglassed them in the hole all looks like it will work I have now found that the exhaust blows at the joint when I tried to do the clamp up it broke next thing to fix

Re: Paul's k3
I have removed 100m from the MGF fuel pump guide legs to make it fit in my tank. (The mgf tank is a plastic molded tank)

Re: Paul's k3
The fuel tank is placed centrally on the shelf which allows the roll over bar to bolt through the tub to the front subframe mounts, through the tub to the torque tube mounts and through the floor. I will try to put an image on but don't hold your breath!

Re: Paul's k3
Thanks that is nice work I can see now see why my tank would not fit My tank will not fit in the middle as the tub has a big curved section in the way and I had put the tank in upside down

This is my roll over bar. Not a full cage by any means but enough to stiffen up the rear bulkhead and offer me a very strong mount for a three point harness. The bottom plates are bolted on after fastening to the subframe front mounts using welded on studs, (saves needing two people to hold spanners!)
