Great you are back on the road. There is a rumour that summer will be coming soon so should be some opportunities to try it out!

 Re: Paul's k3
back on page 10 I found the latch hits the head Quote: I have just found that the boot latch hits the cylinder head which looks ok in the photo but the engine is not pushed back yet I was thinking I can I just move the boot latch to the side? I was going to dump it and make a new catch from a bearclaw latch from CBS. but I fixed the problem by mounting the boot latch on top of the bracket this lifted the latch so it now misses the cylinder head. this works fine all I had to do was wind the spring in a bit to bring the boot down the cable for the boot latch runs inside the cover and out the end, I might have to get a new cable. when I started the engine the cable was sitting on the exhaust manifold and melted the outside plastic it does work ok still but might rust one day

 Re: Paul's k3
It may not be the bushes. My K3 squeaked like hell before I took it to pieces and it turned out to be the back of the front subframe rubbing on the body tub. Just check for clearance first. Peter.

 Re: Paul's k3
hi I went to fill the car up with petrol but could not get the pump nozzle in the car very well when I got home I found that the Ultra Flexible Fuel Filler Hose that I got from car builder solutions has a rubber-like inner inside it looks like it has come away from the outer so I can not get the pump nozzle in I have not had it on the car for long
does anyone know how Flexible the BLACK SILICONE Fuel Filler Hose is that they sell or any type of hose which will do the job paul.

 Re: Paul's k3
If you haven't had it long I would be contacting the sellers....not fit for purpose sales of goods act, refund.......??
Fuel filler pipes usually last longer than the cars they are fitted to.
I would look for a genuine, car part,(Ford,Vaxhall,Rover Etc) that will do the job, I know you have an alloy tank and modded fuel system, so you will know what is likely to fit/angle/bends required etc.
