Re: Kano Coupe
What a job, to drill a couple of 10mm holes each side to mount the bracket over the steering lock inner pivot pin it was an engine out of the sub frame, think of the Rossa Bits steering lock mounted in front of the spring tower, easy peasy when fitted behind but???? anyway all fitted now with calipers behind and new longer Aeroquip brake pipes made. Re: Kano Coupe
The a/c dryer has been fitted and all the 6mm and 8mm hoses cut to length with the end fittings taped into position, now to get the fittings crimped, still looking for 10mm hose for the connection from the expansion valve to the compressor. John

Re: Kano Coupe
Be no space left for luggage soon John Have you thought of triangulating that shock mounting point, or are all the roads there so smooth you feel it won't be necessary.

Re: Kano Coupe
Hi Ken The boot space is still free the only thing there are rear lights with just a small intrusion, but may have to put the emergency spare wheel in there, I never used the boot too much in the old Cox as it always got quite hot in there. The front damper mounts are square tube and heavily gusseted on the other side I'll have to take a picture showing how I made them, a lot more robust that the old Cox angle iron top mounts of yonks ago, Our roads are rough with plenty of pot holes, whenever a road is repaired the next thing they do is put sleeping policeman speed bumps to slow you down John

Re: Kano Coupe
Looking good, aren't you going to freeze the passenger, pointing the aircon straight at them. Similar parcel shelf I made. Velcro at one end, openable cable ties at the other. Covered with felt to stop the glare off the sun.

Re: Kano Coupe
Aww come one Ken whats this about glare of the sun in Bonny Scotland, you should be more worried by leaking screens and door seals I see some 50mm diameter swivel outlets and hose on car builder solutions to direct cool to my important places John
